JCU Singapore recognised for community engagement

Australia’s James Cook University (JCU) in Singapore has been awarded with the Distinguished Commendation in Community Partnership by Kebun Baru Citizen’s Consultative Committee.

The award was handed by Mr Inderjit Singh, Member of Parliament and Adviser to the Kebun Baru grassroots organisation on 2 August 2014.

This award is in recognition of JCU Singapore’s continuous support and contributions in reaching out to the local community.

In 2012, JCU Singapore was presented with Kebun Baru Link Residents’ Committee award and People’s Association and Community Spirit (PACS) award – Merit, under the Partners of Grassroots Organisations category.
