Skywest acquisition by Virgin Australia approved by Singapore court - 29 Mar 13
Virgin Australia has taken the last hurdle for its acquisition of regional carrier Skywest Airlines after having received approval for the proposed acquisition by the Singapore High Court. The approvals in Singapore were necessary because Skywest is listed at the Singapore stock exchange.

Sprooki, a location-based marketing platform for retailers and shopping malls that launched in Singapore last year, has announced that it will be expanding to Australia.

The Council for Private Education (CPE) Singapore and the Tertiary Education Quality and Standards Agency (TEQSA) Australia have signed a Memorandum of Co-operation (MOC).
