Who is this for?

Adults renewing a 10 year passport that has less that 2 years until expiry, has no changes to their name and not replacing it for full visa pages or damage.

Print and sign

Print on plain white A4 paper, nothing cut off. Sign in black pen, inside the signature box.

Photos

Two identical colour photos, taken in the last 6 months, with your full name on the back of one. Don't attach them to the form. No editing, including background removal or brightening. See full photo guidlines on passports.gov.au.

Post your application

Complete the payment authorisation form and checklist, then mail your completed application form, passport photos and payment form to: Australian High Commission, Passports Office, 25 Napier Road, Singapore 258507.

Passport Fees are charged in AUD.

Once it's ready

We'll email you when it's ready for collection, or when it's posted to your Singapore address. Allow at least 6 weeks from payment.

 

Who is this for?

Adults who qualify for the renewal form, but need an appointment — because more than 2 years' validity remains, you're replacing a passport with full visa pages or damage, or you'd simply prefer to lodge in person.

Book an appointment

Make an appointment and bring your completed application form, 2 x printed passport photos, previous passport and a physical payment credit/debit card.

Passport Fees are charged in AUD and we cannot accept contactless payment, please bring a physical card.

We'll email you when it's ready for collection, or when it's posted to your Singapore address. Allow at least 6 weeks from payment.

 

Who is this for?

Children under 16 who have held an Australian passport before, passport that has less that 2 years until it expires and no changes to their name.

Gather supporting documents

The child's original full birth certificate, the childs previous Australian Passport (if applicable), the lodging parent's ID showing photo/signature/address, proof the child is an Australian citizen, proof of any name change, and any relevant court orders.

Arrange a guarantor

A guarantor confirms the child's identity. See Guarantors, referees and witnesses (passports.gov.au) for who qualifies and what they sign.

Get consent witnessed

Each parent giving consent signs section 15 in front of a witness who isn't related to you and doesn't live at your address.

Post your application

Mail the completed form, photos, copies of supporting documents, application checklist and payment authorisation form to: Australian High Commission, Passports Office, 25 Napier Road, Singapore 258507.

Passport Fees are charged in AUD.

Who this is for

Use this path if any of these apply - you are:

•  applying for your first-ever Australian passport

•  under 18 and have never held an Australian passport

•  16 or over and applying for a first adult 10-year passport

•  16 or 17 years old and renewing a passport (even if you've held one before)

•  replacing a passport that was lost or stolen

•  applying for your first passport after resuming citizenship

•  changing your name or gender since your last passport

•  replacing a limited-validity, emergency or other temporary travel document

•  unable to answer the security questions on the renewal form

Gather your supporting documents

Adult applications need: full birth certificate, proof of citizenship, ID showing name/photo/signature/address, and proof of any change of name or gender.

Child applications need: child's full birth certificate, the lodging parent's ID showing name/photo/signature/address, childs' proof of citizenship, child's proof of any name change, any relevant court orders, and consent from all parents with parental responsibility.

Book online and bring your previous passport. Bring to your appointment your completed application form, passport photos and payment credit/debit card.
