The first edition of Business Envoy – an online publication that shares market insights from DFAT’s global diplomatic network – was launched on 4 March 2015 on the DFAT website.
Minister for Trade and Investment Andrew Robb said that “the bi-monthly Business Envoy will better inform Australian business on the economic and market implications of geopolitical events and trends”.
Business Envoy draws on reporting and advice from Australian embassies and high commissions in key trade and investment markets as well as analysis on international issues from DFAT in Canberra.
It complements the important work that Austrade performs in assisting Australian businesses in pursuing opportunities abroad.
The first edition includes insights from Australia’s posts in Beijing, Jakarta, New Delhi, Tokyo, London, Washington DC, Bangkok and Kuala Lumpur.
The edition also offers views on doing business with India from Australia’s High Commissioner to India and an assessment on LNG investment in Australia.
Business Envoy is available through the Business@DFAT webpage.
