Passports: Passport Collections

Collection of passports will be unavailable on Friday 26 April between 11:30 and 14:30.  If you have chosen to collect your passport, please do so on an alternative day.

The standard processing time for a passport is up to 3 weeks excluding delivery to your address in Singapore.  You may choose to collect at our office or have the passport delivered to you in Singapore. Please advise the interviewing officer at the time of your lodgement if you are travelling within the next 4 weeks.

Passports are printed in Australia so we are unable to offer a priority service in Singapore.

Your current passport will be cancelled and returned to you when you lodge your application. If you need to travel you can keep your passport while your application is being processed.  In this situation, if you are collecting your new passport at our office, you must return the old passport at collection before we can give you the new passport.  If the new passport is being delivered to you, your current passport will be automatically cancelled 30 days after the new one being issued.  You are responsible to cancel your old passport physically when you receive the new one in the mail.  Please ensure you do not use the old passport once you receive the new one.

Passports will be delivered by Singapore Registered Mail to a local address, free of charge.

No appointment is required for passport collections. Collection times are Monday to Friday: 8:30am-4:00pm (excluding public holidays).
