Public Service leaders from Australia and Singapore came together this week for the third annual Australia-Singapore Public Service Roundtable.

The event was hosted by Mr Peter Ong, Head of the Singapore Civil Service, and included and a delegation of eight permanent secretaries and one chief executive.

The Australian contingent, led by Dr Ian Watt, the Secretary of the Department of the Prime Minister and Cabinet, included Australian High Commissioner to Singapore Mr Philip Green, the public service commissioner, five secretaries and an associate secretary.

The roundtable serves as a strong platform for Singapore and Australia to share experiences in delivering public services and developing capabilities in the public sector. It allows for public sector leaders to exchange perspectives and insights on developments in their respective services, and deepen the relationship between the civil services of both countries.
